Welcome to our lane
The concept of Lightbear Lane (see images on our website here) encapsulates our aims in several ways: it is a place we have created to conceptualise our vision and the professional and creative services we offer.
The Bluebell Gallery represents the visual arts contingent, whereas musical and theatrical productions are symbolised by the Post-and-Lantern assembly rooms.
The lane grows and evolves with our ideas, follows the rhythms of nature and changes with the seasons. It has expanded to include our bookshop Books in Brooks to represent poetry and literature, and a public garden for our environmental projects.
Its heritage setting speaks to our work in bringing people back into heritage sites through historical re-enactment, art and performance.
