Our impact

We supported ..

As a group, we have gathered about 70 entries in our “book”, a dictionary, annotating it with what is important to the people present and highlighting the terms and words inspired by the meeting. You can find the word cloud above.

Our discussions also supported the publishing of various articles in print media, a scratch performance, a number of funding applications, feedback for new writing, Shakespeare events, planning workshops and events, and impromptu table-top game testing, and a number of commissions.

22 professionals in the arts & heritage sectors told us they have been connected with someone they needed to progress with their projects.

If you haven’t been yet …

Lit Lab happens every second Wednesday with about 10 people in the room presenting and discussing their professional projects in the arts & heritage sectors.

It’s a chance to meet with us in person and connect with others, ask for advice, test new writing and ideas, support others and crack that problem you’ve been sat with on your own for a while. A creative laboratory, where we are “all lit up”.

Lightbear Lane have created a truly invaluable and welcoming space for creative connection in the form of Lit Lab. It is a genuine highlight of my month: the opportunity to have such varied and insightful creative conversations – with people from all sorts of backgrounds, working on all sorts of projects – is not only generally good food for the soul, but has also helped me reimagine what my own practice might look like!
