Roots & Routes Launch!
Project launch 🎉 We are delighted to announce that we have launched our next stage of Proud to Be – Roots and Routes! The project is supported by the Creative Arc Programme, an initiative funded by the University of Exeter, Exeter City Council and the UK government through the Shared Prosperity Fund. We’ll be out and about “West of the River” in Exeter delivering creative community mapping sessions in the next couple of months investigating people’s routes and places of connection, where they put down roots. Dr Sarah Spencer has designed the fabulous new logo. If you look closely, the roots of the tree are a stylised map of the area west of the river in Exeter. The shape of the logo is the pin you find in online maps. Watch this space for more news 🥳
